KIARA FONTANESI, una adolescente ferviente a la adrenalina, lleva en la sangre la pasión por las dos ruedas, la arena y los obstáculos; el Motocross. En el año en curso, ella, anhela triunfar en el Campeonato Mundial en la categoría WMX y culminarse en los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica. Y, ¿cómo no? Sí a su corta edad ya tiene una trayectoria admirable; en el 2007 fue Campeona de América Loretta Lynn en la categoría femenil, en el 2009 debutó en el Campeonato del Mundo en Lierop, Holanda en una Yamaha 125cc., tras haber ganado la primera manga y quedar en segundo lugar en el siguiente desafío y, en la temporada 2010 terminó en cuarto lugar en la tabla general en el Campeonato del Mundo y, estuvo en el podio más alto del MX2, Campeonato Italiano.

Ciertamente, Kiara es una BELLEZA EXTREMA, ágil, eficaz, metódica, perseverante; con el espíritu de un ave, honorable prometedora arriba de su Yamaha 250cc. 4T.

La jovialidad y el temple de Fontanesi, la fortalecen en la parrilla de salida;  intensamente desafía, genera seguridad y radica conforme a sus principios en el motociclismo. Su disciplina le conlleva a triunfos memorables; está ávida de nuevas experiencias en pistas extranjeras; mejora día a día sus técnicas en manejo y concentración; el MX es su trabajo, su vida, su corazón.

En entrevista para PARQUECERRADO.COM dice Kiara que, su hermano Luca, Rider del Campeonato Italiano y, actualmente se inicia en el Campeonato del Mundo de MX3; fue su álter ego para incorporarse en el emocionante deporte extremo, MX.

¿Cuántos años tienes?
Nací el 10 de Marzo de 1994, tengo 17 años de edad.

¿Dónde naciste y resides actualmente?
Nací en Parma, Italia y es aquí, donde resido y compito.

¿Cómo inicias en el MotoCross?
Aprendo a montar a los dos años de edad, mi papá Máximo es quien me enseñó. Mi primera carrera fue a los 5 años en una pony. Mi hermano Luca competía los fines de semana y me encantaba estar en el paddock con mi moto; crecí y decidí entrar en el Campeonato Italiano en la categoría femenil.

¿Por cuánto tiempo entrenas a la semana, quién y; qué es lo que haces para mantener condición física?
Practico tres días a la semana en mi motocicleta. Me instruye Mauro Riccó, quien también es el entrenador del equipo nacional Italiano de Gimnasia Artística. Asisto 3 veces a la semana al gimnasio y me tomo un día de descanso, simplemente para relajarme. No llevo una dieta, solo evito los chocolates.

¿En que forma te apoyan la familia y los amigos?
Vivo en casa con mis padres y mi hermano. Siempre acuden a mis carreras con mucho amor y emoción por verme, eso me hace muy feliz. También mis amigos van a las competencias y, algunos de ellos estuvieron en mi debut en el Campeonato del Mundo, el cual les agradezco su apoyo incondicional.

¿Por qué elegiste el número 8 para tu motocicleta?
No tiene un significado como tal. Cuando empezó mi hermano a competir escogió ese número, por consiguiente también lo quise. Jamás hemos cambiado ni tenemos la intención en hacerlo. Es como un símbolo de la familia.

How old are you?
I was born on March 10, 1994; I have 17 years of age.

How do you start in motocross?
I learned to ride at two years old, my dad Max is the one who taught me. My first race was at 5 years in a pony. My brother Luca, racing weekend and I loved being in the paddock with my bike, I grew up and I decided to enter the Italian championship in the women category.

How long do you train a week, who and, what do you do to maintain your fitness?
I practice three days a week on my motorcycle. Mauro Riccó teaches me, who is also the Italian national team coach Artistic Gymnastics. I go 3 times a week to the gym and I take a day off just to relax. I do not diet, just avoid the candy.

 In what ways are the support family and friends in your competition?
 I live at home with my parents and my brother. Always they come to my races with much love and excitement for me that makes me very happy. Also my friends go to the competitions and some of them were in my debut at the World Championships, which I appreciate their support.

Why did you choose the number 8 to your motorbike?
It has no meaning as such. When my brother started to compete chose that number, so therefore I wanted. We have never changed and we not intend to do so. Is a symbol of my family.
